The Rush Wave Black Rider G2 is our 14 kW electric surfboard, launched in 2025. It is a stand-up jet board with a lightweight EPP body, our patented streamlined bottom plate, and a propulsion system we developed ourselves. We designed it to be easy to handle for first-time riders while still giving experienced surfers strong acceleration and responsive control.

The G2 runs a 14 kW peak-output propulsion system. Under the board, the HydroStream patented drainage bottom plate is rated on the product page at 20% more speed and 30% better handling.
The body is made from overpressure EPP material, molded in one piece at 1000 Pa overpressure. That keeps the board itself to only 3 kg, not counting the power system and battery, which makes it easier to carry, launch, and transport.
The battery sits under an integrated cover and can be removed in about ten seconds, with a self-locking, anti-drop fitting. The upgraded G2 battery has an IP67 waterproof rating, longer battery life, and eight safety protections: over-current, drop, overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit, temperature protection, balanced charging, and battery health diagnosis. A spare Black Rider G2 battery is also sold on its own on this site.
An ergonomic control handle keeps operation simple, and the foot covers can be set for left-foot or right-foot riding to match how you stand. The standard kit includes one pair of footmuffs, two safety keys, a fin set, a board bag with wheels, a charger (110 V or 220 V), a life jacket, and a power key, so you can get on the water straight away.
