The Black Rider G2 battery is the spare battery pack we make for our Black Rider G2 14 kW electric surfboard. Every G2 already ships with its battery fitted. This listing is for riders who want a second pack, so one can charge while the other is on the water.
What the G2 battery is
It is the same pack that powers the Black Rider G2: a black rectangular battery with a ribbed top and four latch fittings that lock it into the board. Our Black Rider G2 product page lists these battery details:

Who it suits
A spare G2 battery suits owners who want longer days on the water without waiting for a recharge, rental operators and surf schools running the G2 for several sessions a day, and anyone who travels to the water and wants a backup pack. Because the battery comes out in about ten seconds, swapping a flat pack for a charged one takes very little time at the shore.
This pack is made for the Black Rider G2. If you ride another Rush Wave board, choose the battery listed for that model in our Extra Battery category, or ask us which one fits before you order. You can also add our dedicated surfboard charger if you want to charge two packs at once.
