What it is
The Y1 is a complete electric foil system built around a wireless remote control. The remote uses 2.4G communication, and the board offers three speed settings, so you can step up the power as your confidence grows. The battery is an independently developed lithium pack with eight layers of safety protection and a three-level alarm battery management system that warns you as the charge drops. The board also has full waterproof protection, so it is built for regular time on the water.
Charging is quick too. A full charge takes about 3 hours, and the battery gives up to 90 minutes of riding, or 60 to 90 minutes depending on water conditions. Plan your session around those figures and you will get the most from every charge.
